An other great example that we can be greater in the world of travel

Air France has made the announcement that it plans to offset all the CO2 emissions of its some 500 domestic flights made every day in France from 2020. According to Anne Rigail, CEO of Air France, this investment of several million euros is done on a voluntary basis. The compensation will be done through the financing of tree planting, forest protection, energy transition and biodiversity safeguarding projects. In addition, the first French airline will eliminate, as of January 2020, any use of plastic for single use on board its aircraft. We must also highlight the initiative to sort and recycle waste since October. The reduction of the environmental footprint is a major objective for Air France and, thanks to their compensation program offered to travelers, they have succeeded, since 2018, in achieving the CO2 reduction of 20% compared to 2011.
Bravo Air France for these initiatives!
